Capacitor
charging power supplies are used to power flashlamp pumped
laser systems worldwide. New Source Technology’s family
of capacitor charging power supplies utilizes the latest
inverter technology to deliver reliable
and efficient power. All models are capable of driving traditional pulse
forming networks or IGBT controlled partial discharge circuits while
maintaining low ripple and excellent pulse-to-pulse stability. Applications
include medical or industrial lasers, charging pulse forming networks
and UV light sources for curing, printing, stereo lithography and
purification. All models incorporate active power factor correction
and low leakage for medical applications.
