New Source Technology can provide CW and Quasi-CW Laser Diode Drivers and Diode Laser System Controllers.

 

CW Laser Diode Drivers

The high power continuous wave (CW) Laser Diode Drivers are available with power outputs from 100W to 1500W. This Laser Diode Driver series has the capability to deliver output current up to 80A. Controlled rise and fall times protect the laser diode from transients as well as over-power conditions. This series are available with all worldwide input voltages. RS-232C Interface and 150W TE Cooler Power Supply are optionally available.
All Laser Diode Drivers meet stringent agency safety and emission requirements, essential for ensuring reliable medical or industrial systems.

The medium power Laser Diode Drivers are also available with 50W up to 15A.

QCW Laser Diode Drivers

Quasi-Continuous Wave (QCW) Laser Diode Drivers are available with a range of medium to high power.

QCW Laser Diode Driver-250/600
This high power QCW Laser Diode Driver series are capable of driving diodes with pulsing currents up to 200A with rise and fall times of 25usec. Units are available with power outputs up to 1000W Average.

 

Medium Power QCW Laser Diode Drivers - QCW Laser Diode Driver-50
This QCW Laser Diode Driver is a medium power laser diode pulsar designed for the emerging high power diode laser industry. This unit can be configured to deliver output current pulses up to 100A and drive a variety of compliance voltages with 50W Average Output. Diode Laser System Controllers

New Source Technology provides eDrive™ from CEO. eDrive is a next generation diode laser system controller. Designed to interface with an external power supply, it manages all critical DPSS laser parameters including diode drive current, Q-switch, and system interlocks. It can be configured for driving diodes in either CW or QCW operating mode.
eDrive™ is equipped with multiple control options. An easy to use local front panel interface along with a host of digital remote control options (including compatibility with Labview*) are offered as standard.
The eDrive™ has been designed to maximize reliability. All system components are conservatively rated. High power circuits are physically separated from low power circuits. Minimal internal interconnect wiring reduces the risk of failure.
eDrive™ can be expanded to operate up to three additional diode current drive channels simultaneously by adding optional Array Interface Modules (AIMs). (Note: * Labview? is the property of National Instruments Corporation.)
